A-Slim wallets is a special partner in how we came to start working with them and promoting a shared dedication to slim wallet designs. If you have already read through the story of how I came to make the best slim wallet then you are aware I was seeking a unique design for many years. After a recent vacation I came across my imagined design and decided to try and get them made so I would sell them in the States. I have tried to contact the creator to no avail, so I began to contact US leather goods artisans through wholesale distributors and directly also to no avail. A-Slim answered the call and began working with us.

We emailed back and forth a number of times to share pictures, measurements, make modifications from the original design, incorporate A-Slim’s V-cut signature design in their card slots, and plan for a production run. What you learn during these exchanges is that although you have a desired goal, you might not know the industry you are expecting to deliver around your goals! They explained these details so I understood and could plan for these timelines. I now know the steps of manufacturing that lengthens timelines when you insert quality control measures - all of the things you want from a partner and I appreciated the depth of confidence I gained in wanting to deliver this product!

However, due to the extended timeline my own design will not arrive until next year and they appreciated my disappointment in hearing this news. That would have been it for several months, but that is when A-Slim made the best recommendation - sell our products in the US while you wait for yours. Up until this point we were designing something that was an extension of their overall product line so this just made sense and we placed an immediate order for seven product offerings with a plan to extend from there.

The Yellowstone Slim Card Wallet is the closest to our ultimate design in that it only has one less slot on each side. This wallet has a rugged look and all organic feel as it is natural leather, cut, stitched, and branded to be packaged for delivery.
